Last week we headed to the Mauricie National Park for our first canadian nature visit.
We camped three nights at one of the backcountry camping places you can only reach via boat.
So we rented a nice canoe und there we go.

The first night we slept just one hour due to all the crazy new noises and the knowledge of
black bears. But luckily we didn't saw one.
But you have to hang your food in the air because of them and that's enough to get some goosebumps.

If you want to hear what we heard in the night check this out!

We saw a lot of these birds on the lake but we never imagined that this sound came from them until we found this!

We also didn't see any moose or beaver which is a bit sad but to know that they are around is already great.
Instead we were visited by some nice mice!

That's the only moose we saw...

And Hamlet chilled at home as usual.

I decided that Hamlet isn't working enough for his food. So I startet clicker training to teach
him some general stuff and later maybe a High Five. I hope that I can start leash training with
him again ones he got used to some commands. I have to admit that I made a lot wrong when
I first initiated it...

And I took this...

... to make this!

my "zeal" (Z, like Zora seal)

He is not really pleased with this newest trends but he got so lazy in the last months that I
pulled the plug.

Think my fellow, think!

Ah, and I found cat food with alligator meat! I hope he becomes a bit wilder when he eats this!
Haha

96% Alligator!

Bon appétit!

This city really never sleeps at this time of the year. Maybe it's because the winter is so hard
that most of the people would try to escape if they did not had so much entertainment in summer.
I have to admit that I am a bit afraid of the harsh winter that lies in front of us.
But right now everything is just great.

For two straight weeks a part of the St-Denis-Street was a big circus. With small shows and workshops and also some bigger events. I love acrobatics!

Additionally there is a bunch of fireworks over the whole july in La Ronde. We saw only one
till now but there will be a few more and we will go again. It's amazing.

We played this crazy game.

There are public pianos everywhere in the city. People can just play on them.
I saw it several times. Such a nice idea!

And here are some more impressions from Montreal.

And we ate lobster!!!

And we watched some art...

Beeeeewwwwbs                                ?

Ah, and it's getting green at our place. Since then we hate these cute squirrels because they eat
our tomatoes and herbs....

And E.T. is haunting me....

Hilarious sweets store "Freak Lunchbox"

Well, the rest of the month we were occupied with our new home. It's still pretty empty here but the sofa, beamer and playstation are on their way. What else do you need?
And as long as we wait for the Playstation we play some board games.

Wish you a nice week
